Technical Overview

Outlook Profile 2008 is a client side application that communicates with Active Directory and Exchange server. By default Outlook Profile 2008 is able to communicate with these technologies through it's ability to work out the closest Domain Controller and relevant user's Exchange server mailbox location. The emphasis is then removed from all existing separate technologies where the best combination of these cannot equate the unification and level of service provided by Outlook Profile 2008. See deployment for step by step instructions and software support for technical requirements.
